Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom. Stock shelves with products, ensuring proper placement and rotation of inventory. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking items as needed. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with customers. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with supervising or training new staff is a plus. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
