Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers while efficiently handling transactions and assisting with various store operations. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Assist in merchandising efforts by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management. Requirements Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers. Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly. Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product displays is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base. Knowledge of fast food operations is beneficial but not required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
