Duties Greet customers warmly Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions Handle cash, credit card payments, and manage cash drawer with integrity and precision Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer experience Stock shelves, coolers, and display areas with store products; ensure merchandising standards are met Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, store aisles, and checkout counters Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering assistance, and practicing good phone etiquette Qualifications Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing the cash register at shift end Experience with POS systems or cash register operations is highly desirable Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly Knowledge of retail store product knowledge or merchandising principles is advantageous This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail expertise while delivering outstanding service.
