Job Summary:

As an Expeditor, you will serve as the communication link between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring orders are prepared accurately, plated to company standards, and delivered efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and guest satisfaction.
Pay:
$10 -$12 hourly

Requirements:
Must be 16 years of age or older Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience preferred but not required Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Serv-Safe or equivalent food handlers certificate
Qualifications:
Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality Ability to work effectively with both front-of-house and kitchen team members Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary communication link between front-of-house, kitchen staff, and management Review and organize food tickets to ensure orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner Verify all food meets company standards for accuracy, portioning, presentation, and quality before leaving the kitchen Ensure orders are complete, properly plated, garnished, and prepared according to recipe and guest modifications Monitor ticket times and communicate delays, priority orders, or service concerns to management promptly Coordinate food runners or service staff to ensure meals are delivered efficiently and accurately Maintain proper food holding temperatures and monitor product quality throughout service Stock, organize, and maintain cleanliness of the expeditor station and surrounding work areas Assist with salads, desserts, garnishes, and final plate preparation as needed Prioritize and resolve order corrections or guest modifications quickly and professionally Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures
Pay:
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
