Job Description

CAGE CASHIER HOURLY POSITION
$15..65/HR Must be flexible to work swing / overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
PURPOSE :
Under the direction of the Cage Supervisor, the Cage Cashier safeguards the assets of the casino facility by executing monetary transactions for guests in an accurate, professional, and courteous manner and in compliance with System of Internal Controls (SICS).
SUPERVISORY SCOPE

N/A ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
: Records all cash coming into the cage area; maintains accurate inventory and balance of monies received. Executes accurate monetary transactions for Naskila Casino guests in a prompt and courteous manner. Operates front cage window, including but not limited to functions such as cashing guest checks, purchasing and redeeming receipts. Maintains accuracy of the drop bank inventory and ATMs, as well as the transfer of funds. Maintains an accurate count of all banks and drop boxes. Attends and participates in staff meetings. Assists guests with general information and questions. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information. Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
:
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or GED. One-year cashier experience.
Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of accounting paperwork. Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic. Ability to operate Microsoft Office software. Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, predict consequences, and implement recommendations. Ability to operate 10-key and money counter. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of various social and cultural backgrounds. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to analyze situations and adopt appropriate courses of action. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with Team Members at all levels. Ability to make solid decisions and exercise independent judgment. Ability to work independently and meet strict time lines.

Previous experience in gaming related industry or banking.
REQUIRED TRAINING
: New Team Member Orientation Team Member Policy Handbook Department Policy Handbook Guest Service Standards Any position related training deemed necessary by Department Manager
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
: Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License. Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies. Must successfully complete an Introductory Period. Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner. Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations. Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies. Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable. Practice good personal hygiene. Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Manager.
