Manage cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed and discrepancies are reported promptly. Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining a positive shopping experience. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising displays to maintain an attractive store environment. Conduct product demos when needed, showcasing features and benefits to encourage customer engagement and sales. Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times. Assist in inventory management tasks such as stocking supplies and participating in stock counts to support store operations. Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering operations in a retail or grocery setting. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or managing shifts. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities that help serve diverse customer needs effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette. Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations, including making change and balancing cash drawers. Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
