Responsibilities Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving correct change Manage food service customer orders with precision, ensuring timely preparation and delivery when applicable Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards and food safety protocols throughout your shift Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting the culinary team in delivering quality products Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently when required for food handling or prep tasks Ensure food safety management practices are followed diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive shopping experience Support inventory management by organizing supplies and assisting with stock replenishment during your shift Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential Strong cash handling skills coupled with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience with food preparation, food handling, or culinary tasks is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently when required Retail sales experience including upselling techniques is advantageous Previous grocery store or café experience is beneficial but not mandatory Embark on this exciting journey with us!
