Prep Lead / Cashier

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Pit Hand / Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions accurately, and supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate will have kitchen/knife experience, cashiering, and possess strong communication skills. This position offers an engaging environment where you can learn and grow on what makes a Top 50 BBQ Joint while contributing to a positive food truck experience. Duties Operate POS systems efficiently for processing sales. Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods with accuracy and integrity. Ensure food truck is clean, organized, and well-stocked through service. Practice good phone etiquette when handling pickup orders or other inquiries. Assist in service preparations and handling sides preparation. Qualifications Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations. Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor. Must be able to obtain food handler certification within 14 days of job acceptance. This position offers an opportunity to grow while delivering outstanding product to customers.
