Duties Operate the cash register accurately, handling all retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and assisting with product selections Manage cash drawer handling, ensuring proper cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end Upsell products by highlighting store promotions and new merchandise to enhance customer experience and increase sales Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising efforts to maintain an attractive store environment Conduct product demos when applicable, demonstrating features to educate customers and boost sales Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; grocery store experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both bilingual settings (fluency in two languages) is highly desirable Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations essential for smooth transactions Basic math skills for handling cash, giving change, and balancing registers accurately Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with positive attitude and patience Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising, stocking, and retail math principles Join us to deliver exceptional shopping experiences through outstanding service, product knowledge, and teamwork.
