water, we're also committed to bringing clean water to one million people in Africa. Concessions Cashier - Zulu Grille Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Concessions Cashier for Zulu Grille. In this role, you will provide a genuine smile and friendly, responsive service to guests to help create a beyond expectation dining or take-out experience. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily. As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love —guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll provide a welcoming attitude and attention to detail to help maintain a smooth operation and enjoyable atmosphere for both our guests and associates. Key Responsibilities Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times. Must have full knowledge of the menu, food items, specials of the day if applicable. Take orders properly as well as entering them into the Micros terminal accurately. Follow correct credit card handling procedures; process orders by recording orders and computing bill. Maintain constant communication between other cashiers and cooks/chefs on orders. Perform side work such as making pretzels, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and using checklists at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment. What We're Looking For General food and beverage knowledge involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations is helpful State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of a state certified proper food handling certificate. Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant or fast-food venue or as a cashier is helpful.
