Responsibilities Operate cash registers accurately, handling all retail sales transactions with efficiency and professionalism Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and addressing concerns with a positive attitude Manage cash drawer handling, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining store product knowledge to support sales efforts Conduct product demos when needed to educate customers about new or featured items Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or through online inquiries Support inventory management by participating in stock checks and ensuring the sales floor is organized and inviting Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred Strong POS (Point of Sale) system skills and familiarity with cash register operations Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer needs effectively Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and inventory stocking procedures Ability to demonstrate patience and professionalism with customers while maintaining high energy levels throughout shifts Experience with cashiering, upselling techniques, and cash handling procedures is desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while developing your retail career!
