Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Scooper, where you'll be the friendly face that ensures smooth transactions and a clean, welcoming environment for our customers. This energetic role combines efficient cash handling with food preparation and customer service, creating a lively atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back. You'll be responsible for operating POS systems, managing food orders, and maintaining a spotless workspace—all while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced setting. Duties Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and giving correct change Assist customers with food service orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery of their selections Prepare food items as needed, following food safety standards and sanitation protocols Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, equipment, and dining areas Support food preparation tasks like assembling orders and managing food handling procedures Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Food handling certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus Commitment to maintaining sanitation standards and supporting food safety practices Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding food experiences while ensuring every customer feels valued.
