Morning, Evening & Night Call for an interview 832-666-6655 Job Description We are looking for reliable, punctual, hardworking, and customer-focused employees to join our gas station/convenience store team. We are hiring for all three shifts . We need employees who take their scheduled hours seriously, arrive on time, maintain a clean and organized store, provide excellent customer service, and actively help increase store sales. This is not just a cashier position. We are looking for employees who take responsibility for the condition, operation, and sales performance of the store during their shift. Key Responsibilities Arrive on time for every scheduled shift and be ready to work. Follow the assigned work schedule and complete the entire scheduled shift. Operate the cash register and POS system accurately. Handle cash, credit/debit card, lottery, and other store transactions responsibly. Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service. Upsell and recommend products to customers when appropriate. Learn store products, promotions, pricing, and specials. Keep the checkout counter and register area clean and organized. Keep the entire store clean throughout the shift. Sweep, mop, remove trash, wipe counters, clean doors/windows, and maintain customer areas. Regularly inspect and maintain restrooms to a high standard of cleanliness . Stock coolers, shelves, drinks, snacks, tobacco products, and other merchandise. Face and organize merchandise so shelves remain full and presentable. Monitor inventory and notify management when products are running low. Check merchandise for damaged or expired products. Maintain cleanliness around the fuel pump area and outside of the store. Monitor the store and fuel area for suspicious activity, theft, safety issues, or customer problems. Follow all store procedures for cash handling, lottery, fuel sales, age-restricted products, and shift changes. Verify identification whenever legally required for age-restricted products. Complete shift duties and communicate important information to the employee taking over the next shift. Follow management instructions and store policies at all times. Sales Expectations We want employees who understand that customer service and sales go together .

Employees should be comfortable:

Greeting customers when they enter. Learning the products available in the store. Informing customers about promotions and special offers. Suggesting additional or complementary products. Helping customers find what they need. Keeping shelves properly stocked because a clean, organized, well-stocked store helps increase sales. Building positive relationships with regular customers. Qualifications Previous gas station, convenience store, retail, cashier, or customer-service experience is preferred. Previous sales or upselling experience is a plus. Ability to operate or learn a POS/cash-register system. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Ability to communicate professionally with customers. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal stocking and cleaning duties. Must be dependable and able to follow a fixed work schedule. Must be able to follow store policies and management instructions. Must comply with applicable requirements for selling age-restricted products.
