Duties Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are well-organized, properly labeled, and replenished regularly to maintain an inviting store appearance Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing card payments Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and guide upselling opportunities to enhance sales Maintain clean and organized checkout areas while practicing professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays and ensuring products are presented attractively to maximize sales potential Supervise or assist in supervising team members during busy periods, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring smooth store operations Engage customers with friendly communication skills, promote store promotions, and contribute to a positive shopping experience Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform stocking duties efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in merchandising enhances your fit for this role Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while making meaningful connections with customers.
