Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced Ice cream shop/food environment. Your responsibilities will include managing transactions, assisting customers with their needs, preparing all food and snack orders, bagging uber/doordash orders and ensuring a pleasant experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Scoop ice cream and create customized sundaes, cones, and other dessert items. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining a tidy environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Follow all food safety guidelines and maintain high standards of hygiene. Prepare all food and snack orders in timely manner, bag all door dash/uber orders for customers. Supervise junior staff members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding spaces. Qualifications Previous experience in food or ice cream shop environment is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
