Available Help for . Full job description Aloha! L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in Downtown Waco is hiring a friendly Cashier to join our team. Were looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people. Someone who is warm, easy to talk to, and comfortable starting a conversation with a guest. You dont have to be super outgoing, but you should take pride in giving guests a great experience and enjoy bringing good energy to work. Were also looking for someone who isnt afraid to work. Were a small team, so when youre not helping a guest, youll be cleaning, prepping, organizing, or jumping in wherever the team needs you. What youll do:

Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest and share the Aloha spirit and personal hospitality you can only get from a locally operated, family-run restaurant

Take orders accurately and learn our menu well enough to answer questions, make recommendations, and help guests find something theyll love

Communicate clearly with the team to keep orders accurate, organized, and moving on time

Check orders for accuracy, quality, and presentation before they reach our guests

Stay productive between customers by keeping the dining room clean, washing dishes, restocking, prepping, and helping wherever the team needs support

Take initiative and notice what needs to be done instead of always waiting to be told
