A Head Cashier manages all checkout functions including ensuring adequate staffing levels on checkouts, the processing of sales transactions and refunds, monitoring cash drawer amounts and maintaining the checkout area. Head cashier provides first level escalation for customer issues and assists in the supervision and training of cashiers. Head cashier may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures of a store, including alarm operation, unlocking store and setting up of checkout area.

Job Description

The Flight Line Gift Shop at the Hill Aerospace Museum is looking for a part-time retail assistant. The successful candidate will be working a cash register, checking in freight, stocking shelves, dusting and cleaning, and inventory work. We are looking for an individual with great customer service skills, a happy attitude, punctuality, and the ability to work with a wide range of people. Previous retail experience preferred. We are looking for an individual to work from 11:00 am
  • 4:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday. So, roughly 20
  • 25 hours per week. Hill Aerospace Museum is located on approximately 30 acres of the northwest corner of Hill Air Force Base, five miles south of Ogden, Utah. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 am
  • 4:00 pm.
More than 300,000 people visit the museum each year. Not only does the Museum have more than 70 aircraft on display in its two inside galleries and outside air park, it exhibits thousands of artifacts depicting the history of aviation of the United States Air Force, Hill Air Force Base and the State of Utah.
