Inside Larsen's Ace Hardware - Richfield, UT About Munchies Munchies is a unique, relaxed restaurant located inside Larsen's Ace Hardware. We are a do-it-yourself hamburger restaurant where customers build and cook their own burgers (similar to fast food but more hands-on and fun). We cook fresh fries for them and are now adding Crunchy Chicken — which our team will fully prepare, cook, and serve. This is not a high-pressure typical restaurant. We offer a friendly atmosphere, fixed shifts, and a great work environment with strong emphasis on customer service.

Hours & Schedule New Hours:

8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday through Saturday) Full shifts typically run 8 AM - 7 PM with breaks scheduled during slower periods Pay & Benefits Full-time (5 days/week): Eligible for health insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts Part-time (2-3 days/week): Eligible for time-and-a-half holiday pay and employee discounts

Key Responsibilities Daily Tasks:

Food preparation (slicing vegetables, making biscuits & gravy, etc.) Preparing and cooking Crunchy Chicken Cooking fresh fries Assisting customers with their DIY burgers Morning restaurant setup and inventory ordering Operating the cash register and closing out the till at end of shift Providing excellent customer service in a friendly, helpful manner

Store Operations:

Help create and maintain a positive, professional, and safe work environment Receive, check in, and stock food and merchandise Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, sales floor, and back stock Assist with daily maintenance and resets Ensure current signage and a clean, inviting space Communicate any issues or ideas to the General Manager Participate in store meetings Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High School diploma or GED equivalent Retail or restaurant experience preferred Strong customer service skills and a friendly personality Ability to work as part of a team Reliable, professional, and positive attitude Physical Demands Standing and walking for extended periods Lifting up to 75 lbs Education/Training High School or GED equivalent. Experience Formal retail experience preferred. Physical Demands Standing, walking, lifting (up to 75lbs) and climbing.
