Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide selection of ice cream flavors, toppings, and specialty desserts with precision and creativity. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Manage customer orders by taking requests, upselling products, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation standards and food safety regulations. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service is highly preferred; experience in quick service or fast food environments is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple customer orders efficiently during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and a friendly demeanor. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely including ice cream machines, blenders, refrigerators, and other food prep tools. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Retail sales experience with an emphasis on upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities. Must be able to work independently or in a group. Be able to list 10lbs and up to 50lbs. Climb on a 7 foot ladder to reach backstock of inventory
