Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Delivery Driver, where you'll be the friendly face and reliable presence that keeps our operations running smoothly. In this energetic role, you will handle customer transactions with enthusiasm and professionalism while ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. Your proactive approach will help create positive experiences for our customers and support efficient warehouse and delivery processes. Duties Greet customers with a positive attitude, process transactions accurately at the cashier station, and provide excellent service. Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT regulations. Load, unload, and organize merchandise using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Load and secure goods in trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices during material handling. Deliver orders directly to customers' locations, providing courteous service and resolving any issues professionally. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and route logs to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is preferred; familiarity with commercial driving is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks with manual transmission is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to lift heavy loads safely, following manual handling safety protocols. Knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and weight handling in the workplace. Experience using mobile devices for route navigation, communication, or delivery documentation. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling, moving goods, and driving responsibilities.
