Job Overview Mashahweez Shawarma & Grill is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Cashier to join our team in Vienna, VA. We are a fast-paced Iraqi shawarma and grill restaurant focused on great food and excellent customer service. As a Cashier, you'll be one of the first people our customers interact with. We're looking for someone who is welcoming, communicates well, works quickly, and can stay organized during busy periods. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Take dine-in, takeout, and online orders accurately Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments Answer customer questions about menu items Package and organize orders and make sure customers receive the correct items Communicate with kitchen staff to keep orders moving efficiently Keep the front counter, dining area, and beverage station clean and organized Refill sauces, utensils, napkins, drinks, and other front-of-house supplies Help with opening and closing duties Work as a team during busy lunch and dinner rushes What We're Looking For Friendly and positive attitude Reliable and punctual Strong customer service and communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment Comfortable standing for extended periods Restaurant or cashier experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Weekend and evening availability is a plus
