Job description: The River Bend Farm Market is looking for Cashier/Front end Associates for full time schedules. Weekends and holidays required. Early evening shifts (till 9 pm) are available at this time. The River Bend Farm Market is the West River Valley's year-round farm market and grocery store. We offer full-service deli, meat, and seafood in addition to produce, grocery and baked goods.

The ideal candidate must:

Ring up purchases and make sure the line moves quickly. Operate cash register, accept various payments and make change Recognize different varieties of fruits and vegetables, and tell them apart. Carefully bag groceries so that all items can be transported without damage. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Take care of closing duties, including cleaning. Complete appropriate shift tasks provided by management and any other unexpected tasks that may come up. Give excellent service to customers and co-workers. Have the ability to remain calm under pressure, effectively resolve issues and handle challenging customer concerns in a friendly and thoughtful manner. Have the ability to communicate clearly, politely and effectively. Have the ability to stand, reach and bend, for 8 hours at a time.
