The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring that products are readily available for customers. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. The Stocker will be responsible for stocking shelves, managing inventory, and supporting the overall operations of the store or warehouse. Responsibilities Stock shelves with products in an organized manner to ensure easy access for customers. Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary. Assist with shipping and receiving of merchandise, ensuring accurate counts and quality checks. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and updates. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and customer satisfaction. Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of stock areas to promote safety and organization. Provide assistance to customers when needed, offering product knowledge and support. Operate forklifts or other equipment safely (if certified) to move larger items or pallets. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or grocery store setting is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus. Bilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with diverse customers. Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is desirable; certification may be required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate stock records. Basic understanding of retail math for inventory tracking and management. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. A positive attitude with a willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
