Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products Upsell items by suggesting complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and participating in regular stock checks Ensure compliance with store policies on cash handling and customer service standards Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling Strong communication skills with the ability to assist diverse customers effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our multicultural customer base better Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising techniques, and product demos is beneficial Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for creating positive interactions Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive attitude makes a difference!
