Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and product information to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash register operations including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing registers at shift end Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an inviting shopping environment Conduct product demos when applicable, showcasing features and benefits to encourage sales Upsell additional products or services by identifying customer needs and promoting relevant items Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person with professionalism and clarity Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail or grocery setting Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership in retail environments is preferred Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management techniques Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations such as change, discounts, and totals Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Experience in grocery store environments or retail sales transactions enhances your suitability for this role Join us as a Cashier and become an integral part of our dynamic team!
