Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a cashier to join our team! This position will be from 1-9 during the week and then every other weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will handle cash transactions accurately and bring a positive attitude to a great work place! Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Greet customers entering the establishment
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
- Bag items carefully
- Upsell products and services
- Keep reports of transactions Qualifications
- must be 18+ and able to obtain alcohol license
- Proficiency in basic math skills
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
- Bilingual skills are advantageous but not required
