Duties Operate the cash register accurately, handling all retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Conduct product demos when necessary to highlight features and benefits of merchandise. Upsell products and promotions to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Manage cash handling procedures, including cash drawer balancing and ensuring secure cash storage. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with merchandising efforts to maintain an attractive store environment. Maintain phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone or online channels. Support inventory management by stocking products and assisting with inventory counts as needed. Experience Previous experience working as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is highly desirable. Supervising experience in a retail setting is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team collaboration skills. Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs effectively. Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
