Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, product information, and inquiries Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Manage cash register operations with precision, including balancing cash drawers and processing refunds or exchanges Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a clean, attractive store appearance in line with merchandising standards Upsell products by recommending complementary items or special promotions to maximize sales opportunities Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing clear and helpful information Skills Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations with strong attention to detail Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, pricing, and inventory counts Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including bilingual abilities for diverse customer interactions Knowledge of retail store product in deli/bakery and merchandising techniques to support sales efforts Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and performing sales calculations Familiarity with retail sales processes such as upselling, in the deli/bakery and other food related departments Effective phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and team members Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced retail environment!
