District Chief Revenue Officer University Medical Center of El Paso - 3.8 El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Operations transformation Bachelor's degree Healthcare practice operations management Finance directorship Operational excellence initiatives Full Job Description Job Summary The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) serves as the senior executive responsible for the strategic leadership, operational performance, financial optimization, and transformation of all revenue cycle functions across the El Paso County Hospital District, including University Medical Center of El Paso, UMC Surgical Hospital, ambulatory and provider-based clinics, physician enterprise operations, and affiliated entities. Reporting directly to the District Chief Financial Officer, the CRO is accountable for optimizing reimbursement, cash flow, revenue integrity, patient access, utilization management, clinical documentation improvement, coding, billing, accounts receivable, managed care performance, and regulatory compliance. The CRO ensures the organization achieves sustainable financial performance while supporting UMC's mission as the region's only academic medical center, Level I Trauma Center, public safety-net hospital, and teaching institution.
