Job Description

Connecting with voters personally is the most effective way to ensure they support our movement toward social equity. We do this through door-to-door canvassing. As a canvasser, you will walk a neighborhood with a list of voters, knock on their doors, talk to them about the candidate that aligns with Worker Power's progressive values, and invite them to vote for candidates who support social equity efforts and advocate for working people.
Responsibilities:
Travel to the office located in Casa Grande Talk to voters and their families at the doors Track your voter engagement using the miniVAN app Leave literature when the voter is not home Report your numbers and communicate with your lead each day
Qualifications:
Punctual and reliable Good communication skills Outgoing personality Enjoys meeting and talking to people Energetic and enthusiastic Committed to advancing immigrants' rights and workers' rights Interested in and passionate about voting and civic participation We take the health and safety of our team very seriously. Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or willing to get vaccinated before starting your work Current canvass schedule (times are subject to change): Sunday - Wednesday 11 am to 7:30 pm
Saturday:
9 am to 5:30 pm Thursday and Friday off Student schedule available
Terms of Employment:
The Community Canvasser position is a full-time position (part-time options for students can be worked out)
