Full-Time About Yancey Home Improvements Yancey Home Improvements is looking for experienced, energetic, and outgoing Canvassers & Events Team Representatives to help us connect with homeowners and generate qualified leads for our home improvement services. This is a highly people-focused position for individuals who are confident approaching strangers, starting conversations, creating interest, and representing a company professionally in neighborhoods and at community events. Job Responsibilities Represent Yancey Home Improvements professionally in local neighborhoods and at events. Engage homeowners and event attendees in friendly, meaningful conversations. Introduce homeowners to our home improvement products and services. Identify potential customer needs and generate qualified leads. Set appointments for homeowners interested in learning more about our services. Work residential neighborhoods through door-to-door canvassing. Staff booths, displays, and promotional events. Engage attendees at fairs, festivals, home shows, community events, and other marketing opportunities. Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional presence throughout each shift. Answer basic questions about company services and direct qualified prospects to the appropriate team member. Accurately record leads, customer information, and appointment details. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure leads are properly communicated and followed up on. Consistently meet or exceed established lead-generation and appointment-setting goals. Follow all company policies, canvassing guidelines, and event procedures. Required Qualifications Previous canvassing, field marketing, event marketing, lead generation, appointment-setting, or face-to-face sales experience required. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people. Confident starting conversations with homeowners and event attendees. Strong ability to build rapport quickly. Self-motivated and results-oriented. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned neighborhoods and events. Ability to work outdoors and remain on your feet for extended periods. Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and scheduled events when required. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
