In-person / field sales / neighborhood outreach Trash Can Shine Co. is a local, family-owned trash bin cleaning company serving homeowners throughout Colorado Springs. We are looking for a motivated, outgoing sales representative to help us grow in local neighborhoods by introducing homeowners to our trash bin cleaning service. This position is best for someone with previous sales experience who enjoys talking to people, building trust quickly, and helping customers understand the value of a simple but highly useful home service. What You'll Do You will help generate new customers through local neighborhood outreach, including door-to-door canvassing, passing out door hangers, talking with homeowners, attending local events when needed, and following up with interested leads. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable having real conversations with homeowners, confidently explaining our service, and closing new customer signups. Responsibilities Talk with homeowners about Trash Can Shine's trash bin cleaning service Promote monthly, quarterly, and one-time cleaning options Generate and close new customer signups Distribute door hangers and marketing materials in target neighborhoods Follow up with interested leads by phone, text, or in person Track conversations, leads, and completed signups Represent the company in a friendly, respectful, and professional way Help identify neighborhoods and opportunities where our service would be a strong fit Pay Structure $15/hour base pay Commission for each new customer signup Commission is paid after the customer's first completed and paid cleaning Estimated effective pay can range from $25-$50+ per hour , depending on performance. Ideal Candidate You may be a great fit if you are: Experienced in sales, canvassing, appointment setting, customer service, or local outreach Friendly, confident, and comfortable starting conversations with new people Able to explain a service clearly and handle basic objections Motivated by performance-based pay Reliable, self-directed, and professional Comfortable working outdoors and walking neighborhoods Polite, personable, and persistent without being pushy Experience in door-to-door sales, pest control, lawn care, solar, real estate, home services, appointment setting, or other local service-based sales is strongly preferred. Requirements Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred Must be dependable and show up on time Must be comfortable speaking with homeowners Must have reliable transportation Must be able to walk neighborhoods for outreach Must be able to use a phone to track leads and communicate with the team Must represent the company professionally in local neighborhoods Why Work With Us?
