Overview We are seeking highly motivated, reliable Field Canvassers to join our grassroots operation. You will be on the ground having direct conversations with voters and community members. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to connect with diverse populations through face-to-face interactions, helping to shape the future of local and national policies. Responsibilities Conduct door-to-door canvassing to introduce candidates, initiatives, or policies to community members Engage in face-to-face conversations, utilizing strong communication skills to inform and persuade voters or supporters Use mobile devices to record interactions, update campaign data, and manage schedules efficiently Employ negotiation techniques to address concerns and answer questions effectively Maintain a positive attitude while walking extensively outdoors, ensuring respectful and professional interactions at all times Experience Prior field sales or canvassing experience is highly desirable, especially in outdoor or community settings Strong background in customer service, sales, or telemarketing that demonstrates excellent conversational engagement skills Supervising experience is a plus, particularly when managing volunteer teams or team leads during outreach campaigns Comfortable walking for extended periods while navigating various neighborhoods using transportation methods such as walking or public transit Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and adapt messaging based on audience needs This paid role offers an energetic environment where your efforts directly influence community involvement and political awareness.
