In this role, you will be the face of our organization, engaging with community members through face-to-face communication and outdoor work. Responsibilities Conduct door-to-door canvassing in various neighborhoods to gather feedback, and raise awareness for the upcoming election this November. Engage in friendly, conversational interactions with community members to explain initiatives and answer questions. Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, track progress, and manage contact information efficiently. Promote community engagement by building rapport and establishing trust with diverse populations. Coordinate with team members to plan routes and optimize outreach efforts for maximum impact. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities if applicable, to connect effectively with a broad audience. Qualifications Prior canvassing/ customer service experience is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage in conversational engagement. Experience in outdoor work environments and walking extensively as part of daily duties. Familiarity with using mobile devices for data entry and communication purposes. Supervising experience is a plus, especially when managing small teams or volunteers. Bilingual proficiency is admired to reach diverse community members effectively. Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude. Data entry knowledge using a mobile app while canvassing.
