Canvasser All on the Field Columbus, GA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $26 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Full Job Description Canvasser Join our dynamic team as a Canvasser and play a vital role in engaging communities and promoting important civic initiatives. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference through direct voter outreach, community education, and grassroots campaigning. As a key representative of All on the Field, you'll energize voters, foster meaningful conversations, and help shape the future of civic engagement. We are looking for canvassers in Columbus, GA and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Conduct door-to-door canvassing to educate residents about political candidates, initiatives, or ballot measures Engage with community members through friendly, informative conversations to build awareness and support Utilize strong communication skills to clearly explain campaign messages and answer questions Enter voter contact data into MiniVAN Maintain detailed records of interactions, voter responses, and campaign activities for reporting purposes Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect complete survey answers from voters Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills Follow the campaign's safety protocols Get Out The Vote (GOTV): provide voting locations, deadlines, and reminders to supporters
Skills and Qualifications Communication:
friendly, clear verbal skills to talk with people from diverse backgrounds Physical stamina: ability to walk and stand outside for hours in various weather conditions Tech savviness: comfortable using smartphones and field tracking apps like mini
VAN Reliability:
self-motivated work ethic with dependable attendance Working Conditions Canvassers must be prepared to work in all types of weather and complete light physical activities such as standing or walking for long periods of time May infrequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds Must be able to read a script Ability to walk for at least 4 hours per shift to canvass door to door Reliable transportation to and from the staging location is required Working phone required Dress code applies
The Details Pay :
$20 - 26 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Part-time or full-time. Shifts are mostly afternoons, evenings, and weekends, since that is when people are home.
Term :
