Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking reliable, professional Field Survey Interviewers to conduct in-person election research in your local community. This is a paid independent contractor position where you will collect public opinion by conducting brief, face-to-face interviews with residents. This is not a sales position and not a fundraising role. Your responsibility is to ask survey questions exactly as written, accurately record responses using a mobile device, and represent our organization professionally. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, working independently, and earning competitive hourly pay with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Conduct brief door-to-door surveys with residents in assigned neighborhoods. Ask survey questions exactly as provided. Record responses accurately using a smartphone or mobile device. Follow all survey procedures and data collection protocols. Maintain a courteous, professional, and non-partisan demeanor during all interactions. Meet daily interview goals while maintaining high-quality data standards. Communicate with supervisors regarding progress and any field issues. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Comfortable speaking with people face-to-face. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods and working in varying weather conditions. Smartphone with internet access. Previous experience in customer service, canvassing, market research, census work, sales, or community outreach is a plus, but not required .
