This is a field-based, 1099 independent contractor role focused on generating new business through door-to-door outreach, networking, and company-provided leads. The Sales Representative is responsible for scheduling inspections, building trust with customers, and guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to signed agreement. Sales Reps play a critical role in driving company growth and maintaining Morley Roofing's reputation for honesty, quality, and reliability. Success in this role comes from consistent activity, strong communication, and the ability to build relationships in the community.
  • Responsibilities Lead generation and prospecting Generate new opportunities through door knocking, referrals, and networking.
Follow up with company-provided (in-house) leads. Identify roofing, siding, gutter, and exterior project opportunities. Track and manage leads consistently. Inspections and sales process Schedule and perform roof inspections (training will be provided). Educate homeowners on findings and recommended solutions. Present estimates and explain scope of work clearly. Guide customers through the insurance restoration process when applicable. Close deals and secure signed agreements. Communicate job details clearly to the operations team after a sale. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted. Close deals and secure signed agreements. Customer experience Build trust and maintain a professional, consultative approach. Communicate clearly and consistently with customers. Set proper expectations on timelines, scope, and next steps. Represent Morley Roofing's standards and values in every interaction. Stay involved throughout the project to support customer satisfaction. Assist with any questions or concerns during the process. Follow up with company-provided (in-house) leads. Identify roofing, siding, gutter, and exterior project opportunities. Track and manage leads consistently.
  • Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Typical work hours:
9:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexible as needed) Comfortable working outdoors and walking roofs (training provided) Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Basic smartphone and technology proficiency (photos, apps, scheduling, communication). Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple opportunities at once. Willingness to learn roofing systems, sales process, and company tools. Professional attitude and appearance. Recommended, but not required
