$25.00-$26.00 per hour Job type: Temporary, through approximately Election Day Work location: In person, with door-to-door outreach in Marquette Like talking with people? Experience in customer service, restaurants, retail, or a call center can prepare you for this role. No canvassing experience is needed. We provide paid training , with training sessions offered twice a week and start dates available within the next week. As a Voter Outreach Representative/Field Canvasser with Mobilize Michigan, you'll work with a team to talk with voters at their doors, listen to what matters to them, share information, and encourage civic participation. This is a chance to earn good pay, build outreach and organizing skills, and make extra money before the holiday season. Team Lead opportunities may be available for people who demonstrate strong performance and leadership. What you'll do Have respectful, face-to-face conversations with voters in their neighborhoods. Listen, share information, and accurately record your conversations using a smartphone or tablet. Work toward daily goals with support from your Field Manager and teammates. Attend paid training and follow safety and data accuracy procedures. You may be a great fit if you Enjoy meeting people and can start a friendly conversation. Have customer service, restaurant, retail, call center, or similar experience—or are ready to learn. We train you! Are dependable, open to feedback, and comfortable working with a team. Can walk and stand outdoors for extended periods in varying weather. Can work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
