Flathead Valley Canvasser Position Description Supervisor:

Canvass Director Start Date:

August 10, 2026; applications accepted on a rolling basis as needed

Hours and Duration:

32 hours/week through November 13th, 2026 (typically afternoons and evenings, Monday - Friday)

Location:

Flathead Valley, Montana, in-person - Communities in Flathead and Lake counties

Compensation:

$25/hour

Responsibilities:

Talk to Montana residents door-to-door to understand the biggest issues they are facing ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Meet weekly goals for direct person-to-person contacts, in person and over the phone. Contribute to a healthy, enjoyable teamwork environment.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication skills with people of all types Ability to occasionally travel for out-of-town, overnight work Ability to work evenings Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Ability to spend hours outside in adverse conditions, walking door to door and talking to people Commitment to the Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to drive a personal or work vehicle, including holding a valid driver's license An interest in local politics
