Skills Proven experience in field sales, canvassing, or door-to-door outreach with a focus on face-to-face communication. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences. Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles or team coordination. Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with a broader range of community members. Excellent verbal communication skills combined with active listening and conversational engagement techniques. Ability to walk extensively outdoors and work independently in various weather conditions. Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry, scheduling, and reporting purposes. Experience in marketing, fundraising, or community engagement initiatives is highly desirable. Skills in negotiation and telemarketing can enhance effectiveness during outreach efforts.
