Meet the Moment New Hampshire is a nonprofit initiative designed to strengthen the progressive ecosystem in New Hampshire by prioritizing the economic issues shaping family budgets - housing, healthcare, energy, childcare, education, and more - and promoting solutions that appeal broadly to Granite Staters. The work will center on building the civic infrastructure and engagement needed to win both legislative fights and elections with a clear, pragmatic economic narrative. About the
Role:
Meet the Moment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Canvass Director to lead a high-impact, door-to-door, voter contact canvass program. The Canvass Director will be responsible for building, training, and managing a robust team of canvassers to engage with voters. Key Responsibilities Onboard a diverse team of canvassers. Provide initial and ongoing training to canvassers on messaging, safety protocols, and data entry. Conduct regular field observations and "ride-alongs" to ensure the quality and accuracy of voter interactions. Deliver performance feedback and provide additional training as necessary. Oversee daily canvass launches and debriefs. Manage turf distribution and track progress toward daily, weekly, and phase-level goals. Ensure data integrity by monitoring sync rates and reporting metrics through VAN/MiniVAN. Manage canvass leadership team of 2-4 canvass leads
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in field management or door-to-door canvassing operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with NGP VAN, MiniVAN, and standard office software (Google Workspace).
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate.
Logistics:
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex schedules and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
Compensation:
Annual salary: $70,000-$90,000. This position is eligible for paid time off and health insurance benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience.
