AC Outreach is a team of community advocates who are connecting with residents across different communities in the lead up to the 2026 mid term election. Our mission varies from campaign to campaign but our core value lies in making sure that all voices are heard. AC Outreach has immediate openings for community canvassers in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This is a paid, on-the-ground voter engagement work: you'll be out in neighborhoods talking with residents about the progressive issues shaping their community and helping them make a plan to vote.

Pay:

$24/hour, flat rate. Not commission. Not per-door. You're paid for every hour you work, including training! What you'll actually do Walk assigned neighborhood routes and knock doors Have real conversations with residents about local issues Log responses on your smartphone using our canvassing app Shifts are primarily evenings and weekends — that's when people are home and conversations happen. We build schedules weekly and work around class schedules, second jobs, and caregiving where we can. Full-time and part-time both available. What we're looking for A working smartphone with a data plan Comfort walking for several hours at a time, outdoors, in varied weather Strong conversation skills and genuine curiosity about people Reliable transportation to our office A real commitment to engaging respectfully with community residents No canvassing experience required. Our best canvassers have come from retail, food service, teaching, rideshare, and organizing backgrounds — and plenty had never knocked a door before day one.
