09/4/2026 - 11/03/2026 About the Role As a Canvasser, you'll play a critical role in the democratic process through face-to-face voter engagement by knocking on registered voters' doors. Responsibilities include delivering campaign messages and building lasting support for issues in your community.

We are working toward building an inclusive economy that centers working people and families and treats those people with dignity. This means building power to shape public policy at the local, state, and national levels and teach our leaders how to be effective public people. Primary Responsibilities Conduct in-person voter outreach through door-to-door canvassing Deliver persuasive, accurate messaging about ballot initiative Constitutional Amendment 4. Record daily data and submit reports to program leadership Consistently meet or exceed outreach and engagement goals Represent NM CAFe with professionalism and integrity Attend trainings and team meetings to stay aligned on strategy and talking points Build positive relationships with voters to strengthen community trust Qualifications Reliable transportation Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week when the campaign is active Excellent verbal communication skills and comfort engaging strangers Reliable, goal-oriented, able to work independently and in a team Ability to canvass outdoors for extended periods in varying weather Prior experience in canvassing, sales, customer service, or community organizing a plus but not required Capable of meeting deadlines and performance targets

Pay:

$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
