Duties Conduct door-to-door canvassing campaigns in neighborhoods to encourage voter registration and turnout Engage residents through friendly, conversational communication, explaining the importance of voting and addressing questions or concerns Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, update voter contact information, and track campaign progress in real-time Distribute informational materials about voting processes, deadlines, and polling locations Build rapport with community members by demonstrating genuine interest and active listening during face-to-face conversations Identify potential supporters for upcoming elections and gather feedback on community issues Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and maximize community engagement efforts Requirements Proven experience in canvassing, field sales, or community engagement preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to connect face-to-face in outdoor environments Experience in customer service, fundraising, or marketing is highly valued Ability to walk for extended periods while carrying campaign materials or mobile devices Bilingual skills are a plus for engaging diverse communities effectively Previous outdoor work experience and comfort working independently or supervising small teams are desirable Skilled in negotiation, conversational engagement, and building trust with residents using mobile devices for data collection This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make an impact through outdoor work and community interaction.
