HEAL 901
is hiring Outreach Workers to help reduce crime, support healing, and build safer neighborhoods in Memphis. This is frontline, community-based work—ideal for someone who is trusted in the community, consistent, and serious about helping people make real changes. What you'll do (High Level): Build relationships with individuals at highest risk and their families. Do consistent street outreach in priority neighborhoods and hotspots. Support behavior changes through mentorship, goal setting, and follow-up. Connect people to resources (jobs, education, housing, mental health, etc.) and help them navigate services. Document your work with brief daily logs and participant updates. What we're looking for: Strong ties to Memphis neighborhoods and community dynamics. Able to build trust with people at highest risk for crime. Patient, consistent, and nonjudgmental approach to mentorship and support. Comfortable in the field and able to stay steady in high-stress situations. Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays consistently. Commitment to HEAL 901's mission of healing, prevention, and community empowerment.
