Duties Engage with residents and business owners through friendly, face-to-face conversations to promote our programs or initiatives. Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods, ensuring respectful and professional interactions at all times. Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, track outreach progress, and update contact information efficiently. Explain the benefits of our services or fun Identify community needs and gather feedback to help tailor outreach strategies effectively. Coordinate with team members to cover assigned routes efficiently and maximize outreach efforts. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to connect with diverse community members. Maintain a positive attitude during outdoor work in varying weather conditions while walking from door to door. Experience Prior field sales experience or direct canvassing background preferred but not required; training will be provided. Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage in conversational engagement that builds trust and rapport. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is advantageous. Strong communication skills, including face-to-face interaction and active listening capabilities. Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership opportunities within outreach teams. Bilingual proficiency in additional languages enhances your ability to connect with diverse populations. Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry or communication is beneficial. Previous experience in marketing, telemarketing, or community engagement roles will support success in this position.
