•Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Canvasser to join our dynamic outreach team! In this role, you will be the face of our organization, engaging with community members directly through face-to-face communication. Duties Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods to promote programs or gather support for initiatives Engage in face-to-face conversations with community members to inform them about our organization's mission and services Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, track progress, and manage outreach data efficiently Distribute informational materials and promotional items to residents during canvassing activities Identify potential supporters or volunteers and encourage community participation in events or campaigns Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor while walking through neighborhoods and engaging with diverse populations Support fundraising efforts by explaining donation opportunities and answering questions from community members Experience Prior experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor marketing is highly desirable (but not a requirement) Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in conversational dialogue and build rapport quickly Supervising experience is a plus, especially when coordinating team efforts during outreach campaigns Customer service background helps in handling inquiries professionally and positively Bilingual abilities are advantageous for reaching diverse communities effectively Experience with outdoor work environments and walking as the primary transportation method preferred Familiarity with mobile devices for data collection enhances efficiency in the role

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
