Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking a Building Energy Specialist to join McKinstry as a member of our growing Technical Services team in Baltimore, MD. McKinstry supports clients and their facilities throughout the life of a building; the Technical Service team specifically focuses on the optimization and energy efficiency of existing buildings with a uniquely technical consultative approach. We work directly with owners to help them make effective decisions that improve the efficiency, comfort for occupants and lifespan of their buildings. In this role, you will primarily lead and participate in multiple on-site field surveys and evaluation of the condition of existing building systems, analyze relevant data and perform database entry. You will be responsible for development of Asset Database, Client Report(s), and follow up consulting, while simultaneously providing direction and oversight of individual projects. Secondary, you will analyze energy use data from facilities and benchmark these facilities against local and national standards. You will be responsible for keeping up to date on industry trends and legislative guidelines. As a member of the Technical Services consulting team, you will have opportunities to support clients with the creation of organizational plans that optimize their building operations while generating energy and utility savings.
