Job Description

Help people move again. AxioBionics builds Wearable Therapy® — FDA-cleared, custom-fit electrical stimulation systems for people living with paralysis, chronic pain, foot drop, and the lasting effects of stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic brain injury. Our products are built around a single patient at a time, and so is this job. We are looking for a Patient Sales Representative who can be the steady, trusted person alongside a patient from the first conversation through months and years of treatment — and who can build the clinical relationships that bring the next patient to us. This is relationship selling in the truest sense: the people you help are the reason the business grows. What You'll Do Guide new patients through onboarding. Be the first friendly voice a patient and their family hear. Explain how Wearable Therapy works, walk them through evaluations, fittings, insurance, and documentation, and turn an unfamiliar process into a clear set of next steps. Stay with patients throughout treatment. Check in as therapy progresses. Answer questions, troubleshoot fit and comfort, celebrate the wins, and make sure no one falls through the cracks. Long-term outcomes depend on long-term relationships, and that relationship is yours to own. Build and maintain clinical relationships. Introduce our technology to rehabilitation physicians, physical and occupational therapists, and clinic staff. Keep those relationships warm with reliable follow-up, in-service education, and honest answers about what our products can and cannot do. Coordinate schedules and deliveries with the team. Work closely with clinical, fabrication, and logistics staff to schedule patient appointments and get products delivered on time and fitted correctly. Grow sales over time. Track your pipeline, spot patterns in what's working, and partner with the team to steadily expand referrals and revenue in your territory. Growth here compounds from patients treated well. Who You Are You genuinely like people, and you listen more than you talk. You are organized enough to keep dozens of patients, appointments, and deliveries straight without dropping one. You are comfortable in clinical settings — or eager to learn fast — and can hold your own in a conversation with a physiatrist or physical therapist. You follow through. When you tell a patient you'll call Thursday, you call Thursday. You are motivated by results and by the story behind them. Qualifications 2+ years in sales, patient services, clinical care, or a related customer-facing role. Medical device, DME, orthotics, or rehabilitation experience is a strong plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the territory. Comfort with CRM tools, scheduling systems, and basic insurance documentation. Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience welcome. What We Offer Competitive base salary plus commission Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Mileage and travel reimbursement Training on our full product line and the clinical conditions we serve A small, close team where your work is visible and your patients are not case numbers
