Our flagship product, the OmniCuff, uses a patented magnetic latching system to help people living with spinal cord injury, arthritis, stroke, ALS, and other hand-function impairments independently grasp and use everyday objects — restoring independence in eating, grooming, working, and connecting with technology. We work alongside clinicians, occupational therapists, ATPs, hospital systems, rehabilitation centers, and DME distributors to put our devices into the hands of the people who need them most. The Role The National Sales Representative manages and grows our national clinical and distributor accounts, supports end users from evaluation through funding, and expands our footprint into new territories — including international markets. You are the face of Reachable in the field: building trust with occupational therapists, ATPs, and rehab teams; guiding users and their clinicians through the order and appeals process; and identifying dealer partnerships that scale our reach. This role reports directly to the CEO and offers real autonomy, equity participation, and the chance to shape commercial strategy at an early-stage company with a clear mission. What You'll Do Account Management & Clinical Engagement Manage and grow accounts across hospital systems, rehabilitation centers, VA facilities, and assistive technology clinics. Build lasting relationships with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physiatrists, ATPs, and rehab engineers at clinical sites and DME distributors. Run in-services, product demonstrations, and clinical trainings — on-site and virtually. Serve as the clinical-commercial point of contact for accounts, attending case conferences and equipment evaluations as needed. Order, Funding & Appeals Support Triage inbound inquiries from prospective users, caregivers, and clinicians, advising on evaluation, prescription, and funding next steps. Support users and clinicians through the full order pathway, including documentation, letters of medical necessity, and insurance pre-authorization. Partner with users, families, and clinical teams on denials and appeals. Coordinate with operations on order status, fulfillment timelines, and post-delivery follow-up. Business Development & Territory Expansion Identify, qualify, and onboard new DME and assistive technology dealers across the U.S. Open new territories through outreach to clinical key opinion leaders, regional rehab networks, and distributor partners. Pursue international dealer opportunities alongside the CEO. Represent Reachable at conferences and industry events (RESNA, ATIA, AOTA, AOPA, ISS, Medtrade, Abilities Expo). Pipeline & Collaboration Maintain accurate pipeline, account activity, and forecast data in HubSpot. Bring structured field feedback to Product, Engineering, and Operations on user needs, clinical workflows, and competitive positioning. Contribute to sales collateral, case studies, and clinical evidence development. What We're Looking For Required 3-5 years of experience in assistive technology, occupational or physical therapy, DME sales, or medical device sales. Track record managing clinical accounts and/or carrying a quota. Working knowledge of U.S. insurance funding pathways for assistive devices (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, private payer), including documentation and appeals. Proficiency with a CRM; HubSpot experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to move fluently between clinical, end-user, payer, and commercial audiences. Ability to travel 50-75% domestically, with occasional international travel as we expand. Valid U.S. driver's license and passport, and authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Physical Therapist (PT/DPT). ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) certification through RESNA. Experience selling into SCI, ALS, stroke, MS, arthritis, or pediatric rehab populations. Existing relationships with U.S. rehabilitation networks, VA facilities, or major DME distributors (Numotion, National Seating & Mobility, Permobil partners). Insurance, reimbursement, or prior-authorization experience. Experience launching products into new territories or international markets; multilingual a plus. Who Thrives Here Mission-driven — energized by restoring independence to people with disabilities. Comfortable wearing multiple hats at an early-stage company; equally at ease running a clinical in-service, walking a family through an appeal, and pitching a new dealer. Self-directed and organized working from a home office with national travel. Patient and precise with documentation — much of this role lives or dies on getting funding paperwork right the first time. Compensation & Benefits On-target earnings: approximately $110,000, with an uncapped tiered commission plan that accelerates above quota.
